Here is a typical example of the type of work we do.
Imagine you have an office space of 1700 square meters filled with 170 work stations/desks, mobile draw units, and filing cabinets.
You carpet was installed many years ago and is now starting to wear and look very dull. You want to replace the carpet, but do not want to disrupt your business, and any down time would be hugely costly. That’s exactly one of the problems face by one of our clients.
After an initial site survey and selection of new flooring agreed, a programme was proposed to replace the flooring over four weekends. Very little needed to be moved by the client and the only request we asked the office staff was that the floor space under their desks had to be cleared free of any paper work and personal effects.
Then working in a continuous line from one side of the office to the other, all the furniture was either moved or lifted, the existing tiles removed and replaced with the new tiles with the furniture replace in the exact same position as found. As this was a project over four phases all joints between the new and old floor coverings were made secure to meet all heath & safety standards. The only difference our clients staff knew Monday morning was there flooring had been changed. |
